After getting married, filing of adjustment of status will follow. There is no required date of when to file. It’s all up to you but as recommended it’s better to apply before your medical in k-1 visa application will expire so you wont have to redo again your medical examination. If for financial matter that you cannot apply for AOs yet, do not worry as long as you get married within your 90 days you are still good. You can apply for Employment Authorization Document (EAD) and Advance Parole (AP) together with your AOS for free. Another fee will be charge if you will apply it separately from your AOS.
